1988

  • Dos Gringos A Flower Company is born!
  • Wholesale distribution only
  • 3,000 square foot facility
  • 6 team members

1990

  • First consumer bunch sold to grocery retail chain
  • 15 team members

1995

  • First bouquet sold (“Pacific Sunset”: red sunflowers, cattails, safari sunset, eucalyptus)
  • 30 team members

1997

  • Moved to 20,000 square foot facility
  • 50 team members

1998

  • First automated bouquet line installed

1999

  • High-speed conveyor and mechanical box strapper added to packing line
  • Two additional automated bouquet lines installed
  • Design Ready® product line launched

2001

  • Patented sunflower display/pallet shipper introduced
  • 60 team members

2003

  • Broke ground for new, 60,000 square foot facility
  • 80 team members

2004

  • Opened 60,000 square foot headquarters.  New features include temperature-controlled production and storage areas, underground green waste removal system, and wet pack automation line
  • Helping Kids Bloom® program launched
  • 105 team members

2005

  • Fourth automated bouquet line installed
  • Licensing agreement reached with Nickelodeon to produce kid-themed bouquets
  • 116 team members

2006

  • Dora the Explorer® bouquet line introduced
  • 124 team members

2007

  • Nominated for "One of the Best Places to Work" by the Wall Stret Journal (finished in the top 35 of 840 nominees!)
  • Reached highest single sales day in February
  • 134 team members

2008

  • Celebrating 20th anniversary! We are 20 years young!
